More work on Onslaught done people. I worked on 2 new Expansion packs for it recently, that will both come with the game. The first is a Monster Expansion pack with a lot of new monsters to fight. The Second is a one liner expansion pack with replaced one liners.
The One Liner expansion pack replaces existing one liners with some new ones. Besides that it does nothing. That expansion pack will be loaded when you launch the game into expansion pack mode. It makes the game a little bit funnier, but that is it.
The second expansion pack adds a ton of new enemies to the game. Some are totally new, others are ideas from the original design document recreated. There are 12 new enemy types introduced that randomly replace existing enemies. These include:
Cultist light Soldiers
Cultist Soldiers
Cultist Elite Soldiers
Cultist Rangers
Cultist Commandos
Flesh Wizard (new mutant type)
Deep Ones (new mutant type)
Elite Guards (Cyborg soldiers)
Cyborg Commandos
Cyborg Warriors
Chimera (A mutant that can take the form of any other mutant in the game)
Drones
The Super Human Interrogation Trooper – A soldier with the enema launcher
Anyway, these new expansion packs will come free with the game, and will make the game more fun, hopefully. More info on Expansion Pack mode on the Release Blogpost.
