Here we go People… Vicious Games is now on Itch.io and has a site for Onslaught Here… Onslaught was uploaded there with no issues… I tried another site like it that sucked that asked me to pay to get around a super hidden 7 day trial but that one was not that good…
I liked Itch.io right away… I got 3 downloads already there, and that’s great… I was able to disable comments and reviews right away, so I don’t get spammed by troll reviews and comments… Bound to do that… That Helped a lot… I was able to post screenshots, a logo, descriptions of the game itself and the download… It was really good… This makes this site a HELL of a lot better than my WIX site so that is great…
Anyway, if you want to go to the new site, go here… It’s also allowing me to do blogging there, which is amazing. This site is downright amazing… I really dig it.. I recommend it for video game makers. Easily… Don’t bother do a website builder Like I did, and go to itch.io. Anyway, I know this was a short post but check it out and download the game through it.
One thing I love is that Itch.io has a dedicated fanbase that will download your game! I didn’t get that on twitter while marketing my wix site. This is a hell of a lot better… This means the instant I post a game, people can download it and I don’t have to wait for some flukey link click that only happens twice in the age of the game here, like what happened before I joined Itch. Once I joined itch that problem went away and I got 3+ downloads! Holy crap
