I have taken an instagram account that was once my personal account I was using to talk about my music and onslaught to high school friends who were helping me and hitman213 with the idea, and converted it to an Official Vicious Games Instagram…
It was doing nothing when being used to talk about Onslaught to high school friends, but now when I started to post videos of me playing Onslaught, It suddenly took off… I posted a “top 8 best onslaught 1” maps playthrough there, and it got a lot of likes/views/etc… That started it. When Onslaught II came out, I did a full playthrough on it and that got even more views/likes… Tonight I started an Onslaught Hardcore levels playthrough for hardcore levels 1 and that has done well as well…
It’s a good thing Onslaught is doing so well there, because everywhere else besides Here and There (Itch/gamejolt/tumblr/etc) it has been doing shitty. No downloads in 2 weeks, less devlog post views and the one guy who viewed my gamejolt videos seems to have left… So basically Instagram is keeping Onslaught alive, alongside this blog…

This so far has been a lot of fun and it’s fun to finally get a stable, worth it, and rewarding solution to the need to stream my own levels/mods/games… Youtube wasn’t worth it, dailymotion barely was worth it, sendvid sucked, gamejolt seemed fine but then people ignored it… This is actually helping me a lot and it’s keeping ons+ons2 alive! Instagram? Who thought it would be this good?!
